Jehiah Maduro

I am a local artist born in the BVI. I had affinity for art since the first grade. At that time I use to draw little doodles in the back of my school copybook. However as I got more skilled I moved on to drawing lifelike cartoon figures and comic book super heroes. 

Nowadays I have turned to illustrating our BVI Cultural Heritage. Some of my recent artwork themes have been boat building, local plants and foods, musical instruments and Fungi Dance. 

Two new fascinating mediums I have explored is metal sculpture through the use of a CNC plasma cutter and acrylic design by way of a laser cutter. 

My inspiration often comes from nature, trips taken on vacation or situations in life. Art is wonderful there is always something new to explore of discover.
