As part of our collaboration with the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta, Creative Waves is proud to introduce "For the Culture", a special series of creative workshops celebrating traditional BVI craft, culture and heritage. Join Mr Devin Parsons for a Calabash Bowl Making & Design workshop, where participants will learn about the cultural significance of calabash and, using traditional techniques, create their own decorated calabash bowl to take home. This workshop is part of a wider fundraising collaboration, with all sessions designed to honour local knowledge, preserve cultural skills and bring the community together through creativity. Also included in the "For the Culture" series is Coconut Hat Making with Mr Jahnai Caul on Saturday 20th June and Thatch Broom History & Demonstration with Ms Rosie Smith on Saturday 18th July. Cancellation Policy
All bookings for art classes, workshops, and courses are non-refundable. Once you have booked, payments cannot be returned. Bookings are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance with the new participant’s details. If you are unable to attend, you may also request credit to apply towards another class, course, or workshop of equal or lesser value. Credit requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of your original booking. Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and are not transferable. In the rare case that Creative Waves BVI must cancel a class, course, or workshop, participants will be offered either a full credit towards another session or a transfer into a rescheduled class.
