Arts Rehab @ HM Prison

In April 2026, Creative Waves re-launched its Arts Rehabilitation Programme at HM Prison BVI, building on a successful pilot delivered in 2025.

The programme provides structured creative sessions for inmates, offering a consistent space to develop practical skills while building focus, confidence and self-expression. Led by Caroline Sorrentino, the sessions have already seen strong engagement, with participants embracing the opportunity to learn, experiment and take part in a different kind of environment.

Early workshops have focused on foundational techniques, including colour theory and the use of tints, tones and shades, alongside introducing artists to help inform and inspire the work as the programme develops.
